FAQ

Why Angustifolia lavender?

Because it is the most prized lavender species. It has a good longevity, both as a flower on the plant and as an essential oil once distilled.
It does not require any extraordinary maintenance, except for mowing the grass between the rows and manually removing weeds near the plants.

Do you need an irrigation system?

No, rainfall is enough. Only in case of dryness and lack of rain can the field be watered, but without exaggerating or it will increase the predisposition to fungal attacks.

Could my land be unsuitable to grow lavender?

Lavender prefers well-drained, sunny soil, but it also adapts very well to other types of soil as long as there is no water stagnations.

How long does a lavender field last?

A lavender field lasts up to 20 years, however its productivity varies from 10 to 15 years.

Do you withdraw fresh product?

No, only the processed product is collected, therefore either distilled (essential oil and hydrolate) or dried (dried lavender flowers).

Who do I sell essential oil to?

Saving also handles the marketing of the final product through our own sales channels. Through our sales mandate, we commercialize essential oil, hydrolate, and dried lavender.
